A HORRID EXPERIENCE

Sail Date: March 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

It was an older ship and not well maintained. The public areas were often in disarray and gave you the general feeling of not being cleaned. The PA system did not work inside your cabin. You had to open the door to hear a message and by that time it was over. The employees in general had a hard time communicating in english.

Pros: NOT MUCH

Cons: RUDE STAFF, DIRTY SHIP, SAME BARELY WARM BUFFET FOOD EVERY DAY

Recommends Norwegian Majesty (RETIRED)? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Very small, only 1 electrical plug-in in entire room, toilet gurgled, wheezed and made strange noises all week. First day had not hot water in shower.
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Most of them were clueless as far as what was going on. Often had to ask 2 or 3 employees before anyone could give you an answer.
Entertainment
Not much to do aboard ship.
Food and Dining
The main dining room for dinner was fairly good and the service was exceptional. The buffet was the same each day, barely warm and ran out of items continuously.
