THe ship was average nothing overly glamorous nor anything that would keep me from sailing on the physical vessel. This was my second time making this particular cruise. I have been told it is the last year the majesty will be sailing. So from the first time (5 years ago) until &/07 there has been obvious very small details that have been neglected.

Pros: Bermuda is a very clean beutiful country

Cons: Free style and lack of personal service

Recommends Norwegian Majesty (RETIRED) 137? No.

Service and Staff
5 years ago the service was very very good. You were assigned one waiter for your entire cruise and they worked very hard for there tip. Today you are assessed a $10/day/person charge for tips. We never saw the same waiter twice. I believe the severce went down because waiters are guaranteed a tip and they will never see you again.
Ship Quality
We sailed 4th of July week so the ship was sold out. We were always able to get seated for the shows and other entertainment. With Free style dinning wait time for dinner was usually 30 - 60 minutes. The cover charge resturants were sold out every time we tried to make reservations. Buffets were usually line free but finding a table to sit at could be a challenge. People had a habit of reserving tables and exspecially deck chairs for sunning by leaving personal towels and books on them for hours on end while they went to shows and/or dinner and coming back several hours later to claim there prime realestate.
Cabin / Stateroom
very good for cruise ship size.
Not too bad
Food and Dining
The food served in the main resturants was good. We were traveling with a 14 and 17 year old who one was a vegitarian. Although we requested a vegitarian diet ther was very limited selected. She ate cheese pizza for almost every lunch and dinner. They used dinner roll bread for pizza dough. The Buffet was what I would put as typical all you can eat cheap buffet food. You had to be carefull at the buffet to find clean dishes. They have 3 water machines in the buffet area that serve the entire ship.
St. George's, Bermuda
Scooters are very dangerous if your not experienced. Motor boats out of Blus lagoon water sports is the way to see the island. $200 for 8 hours you can go almost anywhere.
Don't Miss: Sail and swim is a great time
