First Cruise

Sail Date: June 10, 2007

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was big enough although the room cabins were confining. Unfortunately, our original cabin room was changed from the 4th deck mid-ship location to the 8th deck near the stern as an unsolicited upgrade. This upset my friends and wife because they did not all get an upgrade and we were separated by four decks. My wife was concerned about getting seasick as it was her first cruise which is why we wanted the mid-ship location. Mr. Kennedy, who made the bookings, was not told about the changes and would seek out further information. I think NCL will lose his future bookings.

Pros: Dining facilities, duty free shops, staff service

Cons: high prices of drinks, automatic gratuity

Enjoyed what shopping opportunities there were but there was not much.
