cruise to Bermuda

Sail Date: May 06, 2007

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

The value equation on this cruise was fantastic. For the price we paid thru BJ Vacations, we received excellent value. Most enjoyable. We had a cabin in the middle of the ship which was great. Those who had cabins in the front had a rough ride as there was a major storm at sea on our way down.

Pros: The staff was fantastic and responded to all requests - entertainment also very good.

Cons: Storm in Atlantic made the trip down a roller coaster

Recommends Norwegian Majesty (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms were small but we were able to find a place for everything we had brought and bought. Our stateroom staff were excellent. They worked as a team so that the room was always turned around while we were at breakfast.
Food and Dining
This was our first experience with free style cruising and it was great to have so much flexiblity and choices on where and when to dine. Food was excellent and well tailored to its setting.
Service and Staff
The entire crew was always ready to help and often anticipated our needs.
Excellent combination of stage productions, comediennes, game shows, chance, opportunitues to dance or just listen to good music.
St. George's, Bermuda
St Peters Church and the unfinished church plus the walk around the shore (about 5 miles) to see Tobacco Bay, all the forts and beautiful scenery. Also we bought a transportation (bus/ferries) pass for 2 days and took off to Hamilton and Elbow Beach on one day and Dockyard, Mango Bay and Horseshoe Bay for the other. Horseshoe Bay is one of the most spectacular beaches I have seen.
Don't Miss: Horseshoe Bay between Hamilton and Dockyard.
