Very poor crusing experience

Sail Date: April 01, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

No programs for kids. They have a so called kids program which basically some kind of daycare. My 9 yrs old daughter went there once and there were showing a cartoon picture in a tv. No other kids activities.

Foods are very poor. Very limited choice. Pizzas are extremely bad. All pizzas, pancakes etc. probably made out of frozen foods. No freshness in foods. Except la-carte restaurant which charge $10 per person, all restaurants have same menu.

The so called oceanview room should be metioned as fully blocked ocean view by lifeboats.

Pros: Housekeeping

Cons: Food, very limited choice of foods. Fast food like pizza, pancake, finger chips are all frozen. No ethenic food like mexican, indian, chinese.

Recommends Norwegian Majesty (RETIRED) 137? No.

Food and Dining
Very very poor.
Ship Quality
Old ship, but it is good. I felt some stability issue especially when the ship's speed is over 25 knots.
Children's Programs
Horrendous. showing moving on tvs is the only activity. Staffs are not so friendly there. It seems that they are doing some favor.
Cabin / Stateroom
Old room. but maintained well. The cartons are not so lengthy, so if your pillow is facing the so called window, in the morning sunlight will come directly into your eyes to wake you up.
They tried, but comedy qualities are poor. All adult jokes, I have to quit some programs because of obsecenity of the jokes. Singers are below average. All of the singers have pitch problem, they only shout.
Service and Staff
St. George's, Bermuda
Sunset sail is a waste of time. From the captain's mouth: clouds cover the sun in two third of such visit. Forget about 360 degree experience, you will not get even a degree of it. St George's scenic visit by car was good.
Don't Miss: Do not miss horseshoe bay beach, it is great!
