First cruise on NCL and was pleasantly surprised. Ship was welcoming and easy to navigate.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food quality was average to good. We ate early in Tsar's Palace and had a window seat every night.

Only went to 2 theater shows. Music around ship was enjoyable.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff were very friendly and responsive.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was clean; some areas needed minor repairs due to normal wear and tear; one area of hallway had an odor that was being worked on.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Inside room included a drop-down bunk for a third passenger. This impeded getting into and out of bed. Bathroom configuration with toilet on angle made it difficult for tall and/or large-sized person to sit comfortably without knees hitting wall. However\, shower\, sink and countertop were adequate. Room lighting was very poor.

Pros: Easy access to Tsar's Palace dining room

Cons: Too many designated smoking areas

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!
