Sail Date: September 15, 2012
Ship: Norwegian Jewel
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple

Ship was clean. Room was nice enough (Balcony). Decor was average (having been on 4 other lines). Staff was friendly, but not having to try hard (tips were included) there were no \"STARS\". Too bad we had to upgrade(pay extra @ resturants) to get a better meal. All in all the Jewel was not so memorable. Entertainment was kinda corny. Circus acts were good but repetitive. The bummer was that having been the last trip of the season, we were dropped off farther out of town and at a dock that was NOT nice like the \"Canada Way\" Dock downtown.

Food and Dining

Cafeteria food. Resturants were better but you had to pay for it.

I like the Art Auctions\, but the rest was boring. No real frills.

Service and Staff

good but not trying to \"Go above and beyond\".

Ship Quality

Nothing to brag about. Forgetable.

Cabin / Stateroom

was expecting a larger room but ok.

Pros: Seeing Alaska and Canada.

Cons: Food outside of the resturants. Pay more and the food is much better :^(

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? No.
