7 Night Alaska Sawyer Glacier (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 25, 2012
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 4 years ago
First, boarding the ship was a succession of standing in long lines waiting to check baggage, then being processed through security. ( I understand the need for security but there is a more organized way to accomplish it. The cabin and ship was clean at all times. The staff was helpful and courteous, cheery and friendly. Food replenishers in the cafeteria were rude and disrespectful.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food quality was not what I have come to expect on a cruise. Ambiance was totally missing. There wasn't a quiet place to dine on the entire ship. Some of the noise has to be attributed to the behavior of passengers but the ship could promote one area for quiet dining.
