Feb 2012 Cruise - Honest Review

Room Type: Inside

Not a great kids cruise in my opinion if your kids are not open to being sent off to hang out with other kids, 7 days is too long. There is a kids club and plenty of stuff planned, but if your kids are like mine, they wanted to be with me. Pool was salt water which stung eyes of the kids. It was hard to find a seat on deck and hot tubs were jammed packed all of the time, when it was warm which was about 2-3 days. Food was great, many options. Entertainment was great, best part of trip comedic magician, Cirque de Bijou, Comedic Hypnotist; getting on/off ship was pretty easy

Pros: Food and Entertainment on board

Cons: Additional costs, weather cold for first 3 1/2 days, limited television options for kids

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!

Service and Staff
Children's Programs
Stuff to do for kids at teh Kids Club - different age group options, seemed ok; security was tight
There was an outside basketball court, soccer
Cabin / Stateroom
TV had 2 channels for kids, no ability to rent movies; housekeepers were very nice, left animals made out of towels on the bed
Ship Quality

Best part of cruise was the entertainment
