Sail Date: January 28, 2012
Ship: Norwegian Jewel
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

The ship was well kept as far as cleansiness. Few improvements can me made upon the layout of the ship such as changing color of the carpets at different elevators to indicate which side of the boat you are on.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall food was great however we didn't enjoy eating at Mama's Italian.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The morning and afternoon activities could be expanded more, and in case of bad weather, they should have a contigency plan in advance or not be organized on the fly. The evening activities were awesome from the following: Bernie Martini, shows such as the newlywed game, perfect couple, the house band Next Stage and the magician JP. These were all excellent. Like we mentioned before, we did not care for the bijou show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was top notch. They went above and beyond to make the cruise experience enjoyable.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was very adequate, it just lacked a clock.

Pros: Bernie Martini, Food, Next Stage and Games/Trivia

Cons: The Bijou show

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!
