Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was fine, but my boyfriend got food poisoning which laid him up in the room for over 24 hours. That was right before the Nassau stop, which was really the highlight of the trip for us. It's really unfortunate. Additionally, the desserts aboard were not really good.

Duo Elegia was great. Ribbon dancing was something I did in 3rd grade, and weakened the performances. The dancers were not very good, they were not synchronized. The choreography was poor. The comedian was not funny. Compared to other cruise lines, the entertainment was not as good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All our interactions with staff were positive except for one. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was OK. It was supposed to have all these bars, but really it was one big bar. It would have been nice if there were more private pool/jacuzzi areas, like on the upper decks. That way children would have been less likely to go in them. They were not supposed to, but no one really enforced that rule, so they were virtually always in the adult pools. It also would have been better because of less noise.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room was small, but that is to be expected. It was a bit cluttered with tables and chairs though that were not really needed. Balcony was nice.

Pros: Balcony

Cons: Food Poisoning

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? No.
