Great time!!

Room Type: Suite

The ship was wonderful: tasteful, great size, comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, great amenities. We loved the spa, which was an additional cost but totally worthwhile, specially, because bad weather kept us on board more than we wanted to. Great Stirrup Cay was cancelled due to bad weather, so we never ended up on the beach as planned. We loved the food, which was plentiful and healthy. The service was impeccable, people always helpful and we had a great time!

Pros: Life on board!

Cons: Ports of call.

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!

Ship Quality
Tasteful. Comfortable. Not too big, not too small: just right!
Food and Dining
Main dining rooms were great, even though the portions were small. Garden Cafe was always good. The Tango was not that great. But Le Bistro was really good.
Cabin / Stateroom
We loved our mini-suite. And really enjoyed the balcony!
Service and Staff
Always polite and willing to help.
We enjoyed most of the shows and had some good laughs!
Nassau, Bahamas
Not impressed with Nassau. We took a bus to Cable Beach, but it was windy that day and we found that the beach there has Lion Fish, which are poisonous and not too friendly looking based on the picture. We went back to Nassau on the bus (#10, $1.25 each way) and were scammed into listening to a time-share presentation, which was not presented to us like that, and the prize for the presentation was a scam. We took a water taxi (the most inefficient transportation on the island) to Paradise Island and Atlantis, in order to reach the beach. We found that to enter the beach we had to pay $69 each. Because the day was overcast and windy, we scrapped that plan and went back to the ship to spend time at the pool. Nassau is not a nice place, I would skip it next time. I would not trust anyone there either, they are a bunch of scam artists. Watch out!
Port Canaveral, Florida
Cocoa Beach was a depressing place. The day was rainy and overcast, but the beach was not great, even on a lovely day.
