Clean and beautifully appointed ship with varied activites for everyones interest. Loved the Indian buffet and all of the variety of food. The entertainment was very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Since the weather prevented a shore stop the cruise director was very successful in designing a whole day of on board activities with only a few hours notice. Remarkable. Loved the captains announcements even when we were facing a hurricane. He was quite reassuring. Accessibility to all venues was excellent. Colors were cool and relaxing and the rooms were quiet.

Loved the Indian buffet and the chocolate fest.
Entertainment

Good entertainment. The 7:00PM show was a great addition to a busy day. Fire and Ice was extremely enjoyable throught the week. Ciquis acts were amazing. The Comic was wonderful, and the Irish entertainer enjoyable. Additional educationl choices would have been a good addition. There was only one book review, and the comic presented his program about Comic vs. Bullying which was well attended.

Marisol was a joy. She kept our room ship shape and provided friendly conversation as she designed the humorous towel animal. Happy, Happy, Washy, Washy, was looked forward to at every meal. More importantly the ship takes cleanliness very seriously and passengers appreciate this meticulous approach to prevent health probles.

Meticulously clean ship, cool relaxing colors, great accessibility to all venues. Good size for walking the promenade in the morning and going from one venue to another.

The room was cold. Raising the heat to its highest level did not help. Comfort was great, cleanliness was great. TV selection was poor. Stupid sitcoms and the same movies for most of the rainey week was very disappointing.
Alexander Bell showed the scenic beauty of Cape Brenton. The port did not offer many interest. Perhaps walking would have helped, but the weather was terrible. The tour guide was very informative.
Loved the easy walking distance to the downtown area. It was a sunny day which was wonderful. The Crab Shack had wonderful lobster roll, and I loved the shops. The PORTLAND light house was a gorgeous stop and the tour of Portland was very interesting. The tour guuide was very informative.
Peggy's Cove was a picturesque site which reflected the true impression of Nova Scotia. Our tour guide was excellent. It was a long drive. Hop on Hop off bus kept us and others waiting 45 minutes in the rain outside the Public Gardens. When it stopped they told us it was full. Luckily they found room for us. Disappointing! Citadel and the Public Gardens, even in the rain, were worth seeing.
Cons: Lack of sceanery plus bad weather. This prevented balcony enjoyment that was available on the few clear days. The room was too cold and the limit on the thermostat did not make the room warm.
