Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Oceanview

tipping policy rediculous automatically added on to the bill regardless or satisfaction, childrens programs poor, mostly sat around and played pictionary etc, nickalodeon piece minimal, evening buffet minimal, pools filled with salt water from ocean kids had hard time swimming in pool burned eyes, boat had nothing execpt bars past 10:30pm if with kids no movies pool and hot tubs closed, back in room watching tv, tends to cater to drinkers, might as well save the money and stay home,

Pros: food was good ship was clean

Cons: entertainment poor, childrens programs poor, boat shuts down after 10:30exoect for bars

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? No.

Entertainment
childrens programs poor, night time entertainment not all family friendly, pools close early and kids program close early so nothing to do with kids past 10:30
Children's Programs
staff friendly however not much for them to work with rooms small nick jr not part of the programming which is very deceiving, sat around and played white board games most of the time, not too exciting for money spent
Ship Quality
easy to get around boat pretty some decor outdated but very clean
Food and Dining
depending on restaurant the extra fees much more expensive than advertised mostly $20-25 not the 10-15 they advertise, not all servers speak good english so a few mix ups with food choices, a few nights service very slow, buffet good variey exept for late night
Service and Staff
most of the staff very pleasant
Cabin / Stateroom
rooms a little on the smaller size however clean
