just came back from my second cruise. NCL Jewel was an okay cruise compare to my fist one. The cabin space for a window cabin was great. Plenty of space and a large bathroom. The food was okay, not great and the information about the island and activities needs improvement.

Pros: cabin

Cons: food and info

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food needed improvement
Cabin / Stateroom
Pillows were uncomfortable and bed was okay.
Service and Staff
Tips are taken out every day from your credit card and staff has guaranteed tip so they don't go out of their way to service you unless you request it. Sometimes they give you the run-around.
Check the cruise activities before you book. Some cruises activities are focus on family or kids. If you are not traveling with kids you will be some what disappointed. I booked on a Nikelodeon cruise by mistake and all the activities were focus on kids and the pool and pool area was full of kids.
Ship Quality
Window cabin size was great and the bathroom was updated and large.
Children's Programs
All day there is activities for kids. You can enjoy free time for yourself while your kids are having fun with other kids and set-programs for them.
Nassau, Bahamas
Many things to do. You can get outside tours for $30 and see the whole island.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Beautiful beach and some activities. Great place to rent a flotation device and just hang out in the beach.
Port Canaveral, Florida
Unless you want to go to Disney for half a day, there is nothing for an hour and a half from this port. Even to go to Disney it takes 3 hrs of transportation to just be there for 5 hrs tops.
