First Cruise - Didn't know what to expect. Ran into a severe storm on departure from New York. Ship handled the forty plus foot seas with minimal roll - wish we had put clothes on hangars though - they rattled a bit. Staff were friendly - especially one of attendants who was responsible for the other side of our corridor. Enjoyed Aruba, Curacao and Cozumel - didn't enjoy Belize and Samana. Lots to do on board - entertainment was very good - house band for the theatre were accomplished musicians and the Argentinian singer and comedian were very good. Liked the flexibility of dining where when and with whom you wanted. Found some of the frequent cruisers a bit over bearing and complained too much - Found very little to complain about.

Pros: Staff - Hygiene - Food

Cons: Several of the ports - safety

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!
