The entire cruise was nice, although the first day at sea was a little rocky, but no one has any control over Mother Nature, so you take the smooth with the rough. This being our 5th cruise, we felt that the meals were not up to par with any of the others: the buffet seemed much smaller, with less selections that in the past. The meals in the freestyle restaurants, although nicely presented, were again not as good as previous cruises. The servers in the restaurants, etc were all very friendly and pleasant, always with a smile on their face. The ship was clean, but you never noticed anyone really cleaning, other than the deck crew, but they were certainly unobtrusive. Entertainment was magnificent, especially the singers and dancers. The Cirque Bijou production was really something to see. As we did not take any shore excursions, can't comment, but the stops we made were all easy places to walk and shop. Grand Stirrup Key was very nice - nice way to spend your last day aboard. Embarking and disembarking were both relatively easy. All in all, it was an enjoyable cruise, and we would certainly recommend the Norwegian Jewel although we do prefer the Western Caribbean or Mexican Westcoast, as far as weather, in general goes.

Pros: Meeting so many people from so many different countries

Cons: No cons, just the food was not as good as expected

Recommends Norwegian Jewel? Yes!
