We had a great time visiting Tortola, Antigua, Barbados, and St Lucia. We skipped the expensive excursions offered by the cruise and instead went with the locals, which turned to be a great experience. Just ask to be dropped off at the closest beach with the locals and within 5-10 minutes you are in heaven!
The only exception was Samana in Dominican Republic, which ranked the most overpriced cab ride and the least tourist friendly port. The cruise was in a very good condition, clean and lovely.
Our BEST family experience was the private Wii rooms including Karaoke. The shows were also great. I wish there were less of the Caribbean live music and more of Jazz. The buffet food was very good and included daily Indian, Chinese, and Tai food.
The main restaurant were slow, loud and the service was way lower than our past cruise trips. I wonder if that is way to get people use the specialty restaurants which require a cover charge.
Finally we loved the Kids club. Our five years old had a great time, found lots of friends through the club and allowed us to have a relaxing time.
We most definitely recommend this cruise ship and the southern Caribbean itinerary.
