Review summary

The food everywhere was terrible but the speciality restaurants were good but you had to pay for these restaurants. If the food in the paid restaurants can be good why couldn't the unpaid for restaurants have good food as well. I assume it's because NCL wants you to PAY for dinner which is counter-productive to the all-included cruise experience.

Only the ship's resident company was excellent. The other entertainment was poor... a juggler who couldn't juggle, a tenor who sang flat and we didn't bother going to any more shows since they were bad.

Our problem with the room was that we were promised a window room by but we got a port hole room which is something I have to call about since the ship personnel would not address the error.

We went on the Best of Cairo overnight excursion and it was very interesting except that the River Cruise on the Nile was a complete waste of time since the food was awful, the service even worse and we weren't able to go outside to take pictures of the Nile. This entire experience was a complete fiasco.
