This was our first cruise and a wonderful experience. We are casual kind of people and the "free-style" concept and casual dress codes were perfect for us. We were with a group of 15 (old friends from high school). Everyone had a great time. We all wanted one more day, just one more day, at sea. Note: Read the daily "newsletters" - they are very informative and clearly explain things like "tendering" when going ashore, disembarkation, going through customs, etc.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate our breakfast, lunch and snacks in the buffet area - gotta love the ice cream machine! We ate 4 of our evening meals in either the TSAR dining room or AZUR between 7 - 8 PM and had no trouble making reservations for our group of 15. The food and service were excellent. We did have trouble getting reservations for our whole group in the speciality restaurants. 10 of us ate at Cagney's the last night. Although there is a cover charge for this restaurant, we all agreed it was worth it. A word about the staff standing at the doors spritzing your hands with sanitizer, especially at the buffet and main dining rooms. Between staff and guests, we had over 3000 people on board. Knowing that many of those people do not wash their hands, we all agreed a sanitizing spritz was a good thing, not a negative. (Two of our members had been on previous cruises with a different line that had the Norwalk Virus outbreak - not a fun time by any means.)

The evening shows in the theater, with the exception of the Cirque, were not very good - skip them and head up to the pool or enjoy a late dinner.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We encountered friendly, helpful staff everywhere we went.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It only took us about a half of a day to figure out where everything was and how to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a stateroom on the 4th deck with a port hole. Although small, we had enough room for the two of us and plenty of closet, drawer and shelf space for our clothes and belongings. The housekeeping staff and stewards did a great job on our room every morning and evening.

Pros: Casual atmosphere,

Cons: shows in the theater weren't very
