The jade seems to have larger common areas than other NCL ships. However the shopping area is somewhat limited in its arrangement. Dinning room personnel were fantastic. I would sail again on this ship but next time in a mini suite if it is on sale for a repositioning cruise.

Garden cafe has limited seating so try to use sit down dining room especially at breakfast and lunch.

The great Outdoors was a great place to eat breakfast or have cocktails later, bartenders are friendly, and willing to learn how to make your favorite cocktail, I would give them 10 stars if I could.

The specialty restaurants served very good food. We ate at Moderno, The Bistro, La Cucina, and Cagney's Steakhouse. We would recommend everyone of them.

Watch out for balcony door. Be sure latch is all the way open. We stepped out on balcony at 10:30 PM, door slid closed, latch dropped down and we were locked out in rain with no way to call for help. Fortunately, next door neighbors heard us pound on connecting wall and called for rescue. Scary!
