You have paid your money so make use of the dining room. MEN - No need for jacket and tie but bring a pair of long pants and closed toe shoes. WOMEN - no shorts but any smart casual outfit will do.

I feel that all drinks, especially liquor and everything is pricey on the ship. If you are a drinker you should get the total package to include drinks. So, glad we didn't get the package since we don't didn't drink that much. Got the water package and the price was outrageous, $70.

Try the wings in the Blue Lagoon for lunch. They're awesome, and it's never crowded.

Reservations for the two main dining rooms are not really necessary, as 30% of the seats are put aside for reservations, and 70% for walk-ins. Typically, we waited no more than a few minutes for these dining areas. However, specialty dining does need reservations.

If you are a Diet Coke or Coke lover, Norwegian only has Pepsi, and has strict rules about bringing beverages on board. This is understandable for safety's sake, but it wasn't what I wanted. If you are on a short cruise with no need for doing laundry, Norwegian is probably all right.

In general, the Jade is a beautiful ship. I was surprised with the number of power (110 volt) and USB outlets. There were 2 outlets and 3 USB plugins, 2 of which (USB) were by the bed. In closing, my review of the Jade and her staff is excellent.

There is a bar at the very back of Deck 12 that is seldom crowded and offers great unobstructed views from the rear of ship.

Book all dinners for Special Restaurants before you cruise. Take responsibility of your own to have a great vacations and just roll with it, if something is not exactly your way.
