Review summary

been on many cruises, mostly carnival and celebrity but this by far was the worst, poor food, bartenders who are lazy and disgruntled and dont want to make you a drink, no drink service on board, you must go get everything, no waiters , ship is outdated, activities are minimal and food was below average even for a buffet, cold and not completely cooked.

Ship tip

dont, unless you want a boring cruise, better to go with carnival maybe as they say it is the FUN ship, this is true , NCL Jade was not fun at all,, food was marginal at best, ship is old

Sorry you were disappointed. We love NCL. Having said that, we always go on a destination strong cruises. We have not done a short Bahamas cruise with ncl.

We were on her several months ago.We had a wonderful time and the food was pretty good.Our bartender was great.Never had a problem with the drinks now.If you want table service , you should not be eating in the buffet

I don't understand why people expect table service at the buffet since they are self-service by definition. If you had done your research, you would have known that Jade is an older ship and does not have amusement type goodies, so having fun is up to you. As far as bar tenders go, in 26 ncl cruises, I've never ever met a lazy one, and have enjoyed interaction with them and the servers. You get treated as you treat others!
