Review summary

We were happy with the size of the Jade...not too big and very comfortable.  Our balcony cabin seemed spacious compared to the one we had just left on NCL Epic.  Our room steward, Amiel, was attentive and met all of our needs with a smile.  All of the staff was friendly throughout the ship.  The food was good and the special restaurants were even better, especially Le Bistro and Cagneys.  We purchased the Ultimate Dining Package giving us six meals each at the specialty restaurants.  Other than a few beers and Gatorades our final bill reflected the additional daily service charges.  NCL charges for all the extras.   We were not able to stop in Bermuda due to high winds and rough seas, but the captain explained that safety was the main issue.  We were disappointed that another stop was not offered, but enjoyed the extra sea day. The next time, we may choose another line, but the Jade was a good choice for our ocean crossing.

Very spacious with lots of storage area...great steward. Small balcony but adequate.

Ship tip

La Cuchina is available for overflow seating from the Garden Cafe. We found it quieter and more comfortable than the Garden Cafe.
