Review summary
This JADE is an older ship but very well maintained. This cruise had a very diverse group of fellow passengers. This made cruising more exciting. Staff: Restaurant staff looked tired and over-worked. With free style cruising you dont get same waiter every day, so they dont have this desire to make your experience great. The impression you get from them is more of an I rather be polishing my spoons and plates, than be with you. We have done lot of cruises and this staff attitude was little shocking. I dont want anyone to get me wrong. They were courteous; there is a thin line between gold standard of service and just taking care of the passenger. I would give them 3-out of -5 on Room Steward, and Restaurant Staff. The bar staff and Casino was great (of course ship makes more money here, so had A+ staff here). Entertainment: Very good. Dont miss the last show They got quality performers. Ports: Mediterranean Cruise (Greece, Turkey, and Egypt) Excellent. We were lucky when we reached Greece. It was calm during our stay. Craziness started 2 days after we left. Turkey is very beautiful. Egypt: Lovely. Best port I have visited. There is lot of poverty and people in the streets begging for money and tons of vendors trying to pushing their goods on you but still very friendly and memorable. The overnight excursion was the best thing we did. The hotel they use (Mena House) is gorgeous place. Remember to take lot of $1 bills. Tips and vendors - $1 goes long way in Egypt. Tour Guides: Some of them were working hard to make us buy goods from their favorite vendors and store. They were pushing goods on us. (Esp. in Turkey). At times we were wondering who is pushier Vendors OR Tour guides. NCL seriously need to look into this! Overall Very good Cruise!Ship experiences

Pros: The itinerary was just wonderful!
Cons: NCL needs to improve its service. This was our 12th cruise (3rd one on NCL) Quality of service is going down rapidly. The staff has stopped giving damn about customers! NCL was never like this.
