It’s my first cruise with NCL and will be my last. Change of itinerary multiple times before sail day, then cancelled Bermuda last minutes and took us to Miami! Delayed on our first day to Florida too. So at the end this terrible 8 day trip became 3 days in Florida, half day in Bahamas and 4.5 SEA DAYs. If I want to go to Florida it would be better to just fly. There were way too many people on the ship, had to wait a long time for anything. No reservation available anywhere. Activities extremely boring and the pool was filled with people and terrible music. It was a 8 day suffer for my friends, nobody seems happy at the end. I will NEVER give NCL my money. This is a total rip off.

Worst cruise ever because of the maximum capacity and without enough staff to accommodate them.

Norwegian is not as advertised. The customer service prior to the cruise was horrific. Spoke with several people on board who report that quality has significantly decreased. Food quality/variety was poor. One of the speciality dining restaurants, Brazilian steakhouse was horrible, the food was rancid! Most areas seemed very understaffed. Good luck talking to someone in customer service, unless you want to wait hours...

A good cruise with a lot of fees. Typical cruise-not enough seats near pools. Ship was at max capacity, and seemed understaffed at times.

Because of the poor food in the main dining areas, the sad room we had, and the small entertainment venues, we did not enjoy this cruise as we have all our other cruises.

Great time would recommend it for winter get away

Ship is not large enough to accommodate the number of handicapped individuals in hallway and venues throughout the ship. Any activities did not along enough common space for the number of people aboard. One huge gripe is that latitude used to give privilege for loyalty and now that package is given to fill the ship. The ship giving everyone those priviledges cannot accommodate every traveler, and we spent significant money for our room. Overall, I would not suggest the Getaway ship in particular.

Food was good. Entertainment just okay. Not sure NCL has the passengers first. Change of schedule was horrible & not explained ! Ruined 2 beautiful islands by getting in late, skipped two islands and HAD TOO MANY SEA DAYS with nothing ! Overall, most people were not happy with the cruise overall. Money not well spent on this cruise with no recourse!

Horrible first cruise experience. Probably will be my last. The fact that they changed itinerary and did not email or let us know prior to receiving room key was horrible on there part.

Although we did not get to Bermuda, the cruise was excellent, we had a great time and I love cruising. So I was not really disappointed because any cruise is a great cruise.

I'm still not quite sure how I missed the opportunity to vistit The Bahamas, since were re-directed there, I certainly given a chance would have taken advantage of that chance but I never heard the announcement that we could visit, it seemed more like a cruise to nowhere.

Itinerary was changed at last moment. No notice was given. Instead of 2 nights in Bermuda, the boat would dock at the Bahama's for 5 hours from 9:45 pm - 2:45 am. I sought help from BJ's Travel, as my travel agent, to be my advocate. I received no help from BJ's Travel Team. It pains me to see that BJ's averages out the score for this review. The staff was fair, the room was OK. But the overarching disappointment of the itinerary change, coupled with BJ's refusal to offer any advocacy on my behalf, cast a grand shadow over our entire trip. Poor customer service in the back office's of BJ's Travel & Norwegian Cruise Lines is causing a poor rating for the hard-working front office team of the Norwegian Getaway.

We have been on several cruise's with other cruise lines. NCL out of NY was the absolute worst cruise we have ever been on and will NEVER go on another NCL line again.

What a complete disappointment and waste of money. There was not one happy person on this cruise. Everyone was disappointed for many many reasons

Terrible that they kepts our port fees, which were very high for Bermuda an we didnt go there. Staff reported that they know days in advance, but were afraid people would cancel.

Unfortunately cruises have changed and in my opinion not in a good way We first cruised in 2002 and have done many cruises since and the atmosphere is so different

The staff did the best they could to accommodate everyone but I was not completely happy with my experience on this cruise. From what I was told it is a very enjoyable experience on the right cruise or a cruise that give transparency and options.

Horrible cruise NCL lied about us going to Bermuda cancelled . Food was all cold and gross . No other port given. Trapped on a boat for 6 days. Horrendous.

This was my first Norwegian cruise since 1997. I have sailed 6 cruises on other cruise lines in the last 3 years and I will stick with them. I waited so long for everything that I won’t do Norwegian again.

Cruise was fair, but the rerouting was inconvenient and since no significant time was spent in Nassau (only there fro 9PM to 2:45AM!!!) what was the point in wasting all that food and fuel? Our travel agent with United airlines cruise(Ms June Cook) was no help at all in resolving this mess. she only babbled on about the cruise line could change itineraries as stated in documents that we never received. All in all I could not recommend NCL for cruising as based on our recent experience. Ship's wifi could only accommodate Apple phones.One of our friends who was minding our cat has an android and we could not reach her. WHY IS THIS??????
