Review summary

Will never cruise norwegian again. We found out itinerary changed when we boarded and werent going to St lucia where i had 2 shore excursions booked. Never any chairs on deck,and no tables ar breakfast or lunch buffet. Way overcrowded. Then we leave st thomas and that night find out were not going to Dominican republic next day less than 24 hours so cant cancel plans and spent an extra day at sea

Itinerary changes happen often for many reasons weather or engine issues or that port just won’t accept the ship for what we reason. Many times they can’t just got to another port bc it is already maxed out with other ships docking etc.. it’s a part of cruising . Our first 3 cruises Half Moon Cay was one of our stops and all 3 times it got canceled for different reasons … FINALY made it there on our 4th cruise . Could have been worse you could have been at work.

Might add that the documents you receive prior to the cruise spell out plainly situations like you experienced. I am truly sorry your itinerary was changed and no notice given earlier, but ship happens!

Itineraries can and do change for a variety of reasons. It’s always best to book independent excursions that guarantee a refund if your ship does not dock or allow you to cancel prior to arrival..
