We have been on over 50 cruises and by far this was the worse experience we ever had. Will not be traveling on NCL again. Maybe it is just this ship because we took the cruise around Hawaii on NCL and it was nice.

Food and Dining

Food was pretty decent. Liked Cagneys steak house the best. The service in the main restaurants was inconsistant. Several times they did not bring what we asked for.
Onboard Activities

Pool very small and crowded. Not big enough for the amount of guests. Fitness center was good.
Entertainment

The two big shows were very good. The rest of the entertainment happened in the atrium which was too small for the amount of people. No where to sit and much too loud for the area. Could not get into Headliners where the comedians were because the venue was too small and we were always shut out.
Service and Staff

Waiters in Taste and Savor we not trained well enough. Half the time our orders were wrong or we did not get some of what we ordered. If they remembered your coffee, they wouldn’t bring your milk until it was cold. Waiters in the Tropicana and specialty restaurants were better trained. There the service was good. Room steward did a good job cleaning but we had to complain loudly because our room was not being done until late late afternoon. Coming back from the beach we would have liked to beable to shower and rest before dinner without having nto vacate so it could be cleaned. After complaining, they agreed to clean our room before noon. They can’t expect one room steward to beable to get all the rooms done in AM. They decreased their numbers when they went to once a day cleaning. The poor woman was still cleaning at 6 pm.
Ship Quality

Ships layout was horrible. Everything centered on the Atrium which was open to three floors. Too little seating for the amount of passengers. Always too loud. You could not eat in the Pub without it blasting in your ears. The smoking section of the Casino was right next to and open to the Noodle bar so the stink was awful when trying to eat lunch there. Seating in the inside bars was minimal and always crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was comfortable. Room steward kept it clean. Size was ok but would have liked a chair instead of the small box they gave you to sit on at the vanity.
Timing was terrible. Did not tell us anything. No tags were delivered to the rooms. If I did not happen to pass by people staring at a monitor, I never would have know that we had to pick up our own tags. The next day in a tiny spot on the daily planner at the bottom of the page it tells you to pick them up.
NCL way want to start reading some of their reviews and taking notes. If the ones on here are this bad it makes me wonder what the ones being filled out on the ship must be like. If anyone is watching their stock is less then half of what it was 2 years ago and falling. Happy customers = happy returning customers = happy bottom line😁
I have to agree all cruise companies are cutting. It just seem Ncl is doing it more and the product is suffering. By cutting people get a bad experience then tell others and won’t return just keep it fully staffed and people will come back if you show them a good time but I feel cutting is only Gonna hurt all these cruises in the long run
