Ok cruise but far too many people and kids. NCL did not add additional staff nor organize so that small venues had additional shows or hours. Reservations were required for shows or restaurants- some people didn’t know and there were long lines to get them and you couldn’t get them. I will never travel with them again this time of the year. I did book another trip in Aug to Nova Scotia which I believe will be less crowded.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy and swift
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were best, buffet and main dining room were crowded- requiring lines and long rooms
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Too many people and kids therefore not enough room in the pool and hot tubs. Fitness center was crowded and fitness classes were absent or required additional payment (yoga/Pilates). We used the fitness center 2 X, took 1 class- there were no others that were complimentary
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Comedians were excellent but venues were too small had to line up 30 minutes before the show or risk nit getting a seat. Stage shows, magicians were ok/ bar performers were good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff were great given their constraints. Did their best to accommodate all the people and kids.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was a good size for 2 people. It was comfortable and clean
Ship tip
DO NOT go in this cruise during school holidays. Because of the Orlando stop- so many large families and kids. Long lines for food, drinks, getting off the ship.
Disembarked early, luggage pickup was pretty good. The traffic outside the terminal was horrible with taxis double parked and hawking everywhere and folks trying to meet their rides all over the place.
Appreciate your feedback. Somehow, I had no clue that the week of your cruise was a school holiday. We avoid Spring Break, (USA) Thanksgiving and Christmas because we have no children. Sorry you got caught up with this “holiday”.
