Review summary

I prefer to issue gratitues to whom that give me excellent service. Always I have had the gratitues removed from my account on the ship.This time I was told I would have to fill out a form and send it to the company. This for me turned a nice cruise into a bad one. I probably will never cruise Norwegian again.They are turning tips into a mandatory thing.

I called and as long as u fill the form out they will remove the gratuities

I have one booked for March 13 3016 and they gave me an option to pay now at the less tip rate or pay later with the increase but it's only a couple bucks

I'm booked for june 5th 2015 and got an e-mail that the gratuity rate went up. I'm not happy with that but it's my first Norwegian cruise. I'll just have to cut down on the extra tips I give out. this is going on with Carnival also. I believe it's a trend now.
