Norwegian Getaway - Outstanding

Big SmileBig SmileWe really enjoyed the GetAway.. We had never previously sailed on Norwegian, but are avid cruisers who typically go on Celebrity, Princess and once in a while - Royal Caribbean.  The Getaway exceeded expectations in food quality, entertainment, ship features and things to do (dance classes, etc).  We loved the water slides, ropes course, etc.  If you are looking for a big relaxing pool area.... you won't find that.  There is only one pool for adults, so it is crowded..  But if you enjoy being active, the slides are a blast.  There is also a waterfall / type wading water feature at the back of deck 16 which is very nice and adult oriented.

The entertainment was the best we've ever seen at sea.  The number of restaurants (smaller - not huge dining rooms) were VERY appealing.  We did several speciality restaurants because we feared the regular dining room food would be average.  Not the case!  We enjoyed the regular dining rooms as much (or more) than some speciality.

We'll cruise again with Norwegian!  Great, very active time....
