Review summary

Having cruised several times in the past, including on the Gem we noticed a difference in amenities. There were more things with extra charges then before.

They really need to come up with some new activities and games. They may be good for one or two cruises but get old, predictable and boring with time.not everyone is interested in Bingo.

I don't use them and don't feel my "service fee" should be used to subsidize their paycheck. The parents who take advantage of these babysitters and counselors should.

The small plastic shower chair was too short to use with someone who could not stand at all. There was no way of getting him up if he sat that low. I had asked for a shore bench that was connected to the wall like we have had on every other trip.
