We were on the Norwegian GEM and it was FANTASTIC!
The ship is very well maintained and clean, which is of great importance. The entire staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.
When we got to Great Stirrup Cay the weather was horrible, severe thunder storm, but the crew added a bunch of activities for the day so no-one was bored.
Although there are a lot of dining options that are included, we also ate at Moderno which is one of several specialty restaurants on board for an additional small charge per person.

Pros: Friendly staff, great service, great food, awesome entertainment

Cons: Kids were allowed in things that were supposed to be 18 years and up.

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!

Ship Quality
Very clean
Food and Dining
the dining options that are included are plenty, but try one of the specialty restaurants for a small sitting fee per person.
Cabin / Stateroom
Everything is well maintained and modern. I was very surprised by the water pressure and how hot the water can get in the shower.
Service and Staff
Everyone was always smiling and friendly. No question was silly and they always had an answer.
comedian, illusionist, second city, the gem stars, deal or no deal and much more.
