We have cruised with Norwegian several times but this was our first trip on thr GEM. WE were delighted as usual with all aspects of the ship. After we had booked, My husband had his leg amputated and wears a prosthesis. We attempted to change our reservation to a Handicap Room, but there was no availibility. The staff we delt with were able to provide us with the extra things we needed and our cabin steward, Jonathon was very accomadating. We had all of our meals in the Grand Pacific, Blue Lagoon or speciality restaurants and were delighted.
The ship is beautifully appointed and the upkeep is great. what a delight to live in such special surroundings for a week.
