7 Night Bahamas & Florida (New York Roundtrip)
Sail Date: April 08, 2012
Ship: Norwegian Gem
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)

Ship was clean, nice friendly staff. Food was ok,had better on other shops.it was crowded as it was kid vacation week which was expected. Staff needs to reign in these parents that do not watch their kids, and allow their kids to go to everything including adults only shows. Apparently new yorkers are exempt.

Food and Dining

Free style is a good idea, but could use some tweaking

Children's Programs

My teenager did not like the program,1 st time she did not want to go, and she has been on many cruises. I think it was all the rude obnoxious kids

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cleaning staff charged us for mini bar we never used, and then told others we had used it. Either someone else was in my stateroom,or she decided to have one on us! And then lied about it

Pros: Very stable boat,nice staff

Cons: Food was sub par,

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!
