Norwegian Gem to Bermuda

Sail Date: June 12, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The crew was extremely hard-working and dedicated to make sure we all had a great vacation. Cruise director Sinan did a great job in giving us top notch entertainment. I thought the prices of the excursions were very high especially for a family of 4. We ended up getting a multi-day pass to ride unlimited on the ferries and buses around the island. We were able to get around easily and save a lot of money this way. I recommend the crystal caves and Horseshoe bay.

Pros: Great ship, staff, food and beautiful Island

Cons: Price of excursions

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
room was small but housekeeping did a great job every day keeping it made up. Did smell like smoke first couple days but she worked hard to clear the smell.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Dinner in the dining rooms was excellent. Buffet dining was good, nothing stand out but good selection.
Service and Staff
Loved second city.
King's Wharf, Bermuda
Dockyard was great. They even had a heritage festival one night with crafters and a live band.
