Memorable Spring Break

We thought that the ship was really nice. Compared to our last Norwegian cruise, this ship seemed so much bigger. It was very easy to navigate around the ship. We thought the layout was nice because if you were ever lost, there was always a map close by to help you out. The main dining room food was alright. We seemed to think that everything was a bit too salty. Although there was a variety of choices, it seemed that the food was very standard on the ship. The atmosphere of each of the main dining rooms were absolutely beautiful. The Garden Cafe was nice considering it was a buffet. Finding a seat was always an issue no matter what time you decided to go. I would recommended getting Room Service for Breakfast so you don't have to bother with the long lines. The entertainment on the Gem was absolutely amazing. Go to every show because they are great and you will definitely have fun.

Pros: shows, cruise director, entertainment,atmosphere

Cons: food, drink prices

I would recommend getting on the Cocoa Beach shuttle for $10 roundtrip. The beach is beautiful and clean. Ron Jon surf shop is a good experience. Love this port :)
Don't Miss: In Cocoa Beach, Sandbar restaurant/bar
Nassau, Bahamas
if you like to be harassed, get your hair braided or go on a sketchy tour for money then this is the place for you. We didn't enjoy this port as much as we thought we would.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Best part of the whole cruise. Clear blue water and white sand. What could be better? I recommend the Hippo Slide/Snorkeling package.
