Very Enjoyable

We had a wonderful 7 day cruise to the Bahamas. The weather was beautiful throughout the week. The ship was well run. Everything was extremely well organized from entertainment, food to housekeeping. The staff was courteous and friendly. There were plenty of choices for food. We especially enjoy the private island Stirrup Cay. The water was a bit cold given the time of the year but just being on the beach was really nice.

Pros: The quality of the ship throughout.

Cons: Too many people.

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Staterooms were very nice and comfortable. The beds were a little small though but that's to be expected on a ship.
Service and Staff
Always friendly and courteous.
Great variety of entertainment. The Cruise Director was very good at what he does and very funny.
Ship Quality
The ship is only two years old and everything looked brand new and in excellent condition. There were plenty of comfortable lounges everywhere. Restaurants were very nicely decorated. Cleanliness was good.
Food and Dining
Food was very good in general. The main dining room served high quality restaurant cuisines including steak, lobster and various fish dishes. The formal restaurants were classy.
