Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

we are Gold Latitude cruisers with NCLand at first sight she is a spectacular ship. We found it next to impossible to make a dinner reservation at any of our favorite spots due to the overbooking of the ship( 2400 capacity/ 2900 on board)If not for our balcony cabin we would have been VERY displeased with the whole itinerary. Shore tours also beyond capacity and tour operators were glib and rushed. We voiced our concerns with the appropriate staff on board and they were in agreement that many venues should have had tighter crowd control.

Pros: Beautifully designed and decor

Cons: overcrowded, poor planning for reservations for restaurants and shore tours

Recommends Norwegian Gem? No.

Nassau, Bahamas
this was our 3rd time at Atlantis Resort from an NCL ship. Shore operator was rushed , group was 100+ and unweildy, --we left the group and revisited favorite spots
Don't Miss: don't miss underground aquarium, water features and luxurious ambiance of the resort.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
dolphin enounter was rushed and too large a group again
