Our stateroom was simple, but comfortable and nice. Most of the staff were generally friendly particularly those at the buffet and the pair who cleaned our room, but the ladies at the service desk were unnecessarily aloof and misinformed us several times. The entertainment that we saw was ok (when you could squeeze in) and the food was too often bland and cold. Our stops along the way were incredible, although if you didn't take their over-priced excursions, they were not, in any way, helpful. The weight room was well equipped (as was the overly expensive spa) but even the seminars on fitness and nutrition eventually wanted you to pay for some service.

Food and Dining

The buffet turned out to be our most frequent option and although it was plentiful, it was often bland and lukewarm to cold. There was never enough seating. I expected more from the other two restaurants without cover charge but the food wasn't much tastier or warmer. The servers were always trying to bring us more food than we ordered.

Entertainment

We only saw two shows - the comedian was very good, but the music and dance show by the cruise cast was so loud it gave me a headache and wasn't much more than an amusement park type show. They showed the movies in a public area which was woefully inadequate for the number of people who wanted to see them. We attended a very informative seminar at the fitness center. The only time that the climbing wall was open was when we were in port.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
There were a number of the staff who were particulary engaging and when we first embarked everyone was almost overly friendly. By disembarkation, seems like some of them had had enough.

Pros: Spain, France and Italy

Cons: Not much too to do when at sea
