Uninteresting itinerary

Sail Date: December 06, 2008

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Good overall organisation. Corteous and professional staff. Good quality of restaurants. Excellent shows. Unecessary and counter productive decision to have guests paying soft-drinks and water. Too high charges on excursion packages

Pros: Entertainment and room stewardish

Cons: Ports selected in Bahamas

Recommends Norwegian Gem? Yes!

Service and Staff
Mostly corteous and professional
Ship Quality
New ship, technologically excellent
Food and Dining
Very large choice and great number of restaurants
Cabin / Stateroom
Well functional cabin, with balcony. TV shows were all pay-formula, except for CNN and FoxNews. Chargin $ 10.- per movie is too high
Excellent shows. Too expensive bingo games
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Ugly site, deprived of any interest
Nassau, Bahamas
Boring place, only offering jewel and alcohol shops
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas
Completely uninteresting place. Poor beach, poor sea.
Don't Miss: None
Port Canaveral, Florida
Impecable. Most interesting, even emotional.
Don't Miss: The Apollo/Saturn V Centre at the Nasa Space Base
