Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in all areas from Garden buffet to specialty restaurants was very good. Portions were generous. Not like some cruise lines where you have to order several entrees to be satisfied.

The Manhattan Room

5 out of 5

Pleasantly surprised at this room. Excellent food and generous portions. But it also had live dinner music. People also had the opportunity to dance as well. It was very relaxing.

Teppanyaki

5 out of 5

This place was a lot of fun. The cooks were very entertaining! Food was very good and generous portions as well.

O'Sheehan's Bar and Grill

5 out of 5

The best chicken wings! Nice place to eat because it’s in the middle of several things going on. We could watch game shows, demos, etc while we ate or enjoyed a drink.

La Cucina

5 out of 5

Food was delicious and portions were very generous.

Cafe at the Atrium

It had Starbucks! That was a pleasant surprise because they don’t advertise it

Onboard Activities

Plenty to do. Plenty of lounge chairs for everyone.

Entertainment

Stage shows were great! Choir of Man was excellent! Staff talent show was very good!

Spice H20

I was surprised at how much room this area had. Plenty of lounge chairs and loved looking out the back of the ship. Nice and relaxing.

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was fantastic. One day we forgot and left the Do not disturb light on while we went out for the day. When we came back we realized what we did. I called and just asked for a couple towels and he said he would come and clean for us when we went to dinner. He went over and above. Always greeted us in the hallway when we passed by. Waiters were so polite. Everyone was great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was amazing! I especially liked the smoking area of the casino being closed off from main walkways. It was beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The balcony room was amazing! The layout was perfect. So much room to unpack. Plenty of shelves, cabinets and space for everything’s. We never used it all! Bathroom had plenty of shelves. The only thing it didn’t have was a plug. But there was plenty of outlets at the vanity in the main room.

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

We decided to stay on the ship

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

I was very disappointed that we were not able to go to this port. It was one I was really looking forward to. Apparently it was not safe to tender from the ship to shore.

Nassau, Bahamas

The first day we stayed on the ship. I’m not impressed with the port in Nassau. We did go out on an excursion to Blue Lagoon on the second day. That was a nice excursion. Food was average. Plenty of lounge chairs.

Disembarkation

THis was the worst experience! Why we all had to pick color tags and time frame so i will never understand because NO ONE followed it! By 8:30 am, it seemed like EVERYONE wasn’t in line to leave. You saw all different color tags in line. Stairwells and elevators we’re jammed. People cutting in line all over the place. We were just gettin to the point of getting off the ship and we got directed to a different route. Turned out that route took us clear to the back of the ship to start all over. It took us another hour from there to get off. It was total chaos! Someone has to get that part of this experience under control.
