Review summary

NCL is a great cruise line and their service is incredible. The food and the ship are amazing. I will have to say that I will never cruise out of NYC again as the port process there is so much worse than the pleasant experience I have had in Seattle and Miami.

Embarkation

The New York Port is obviously not equipped to handle a larger ship and I found the boarding process absolutely frustrating. If you want to take a cruise on this wonderful ship, go out of Miami instead.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
the food was incredible and I love all of the options.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The facilities on on the ship are great and there is always plenty to do,.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Brat Pack was great! The Glow Party and the 80's party were not as fun as they could have been because of the ship staff (Cruise Director) feeling like they needed to be the center of attention. Who goes to a party and has to watch the assistant cruise director stand on the stage and dance?

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on this ship are top notch. They are incredibly friendly and so hard working.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Its a great ship and they keep it very clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The rooms are well designed and while cruise rooms tend to be small, our room had plenty of storage and was quite comfortable. The aft balcony gives you a larger balcony with great views.

Ship tip

Explore on the first day...it is a huge ship with awesome features.

Ports of call

New York, New York

The port was a cluster of chaos and the staff in New York are incredibly rude. They weren't organized and definitely not efficient.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Very comfortable and easy to use. You do have to take a Ferry or rent a scooter (which I recommend) to get to the majority of the sights. There aren't many food venues here, so plan on eating on the ship.

Disembarkation

It seems like there could be a better way to have folks leave the ship. One piece of advice would be to have more colored tags so the luggage is easier to find and to figure out a way that folks leave the ship when their color is truly called...
