We just finished our first Norwegian cruise on the Escape. It was a lovely ship that had a lot to offer. The complimentary food was average but there were lots of options. There were SOOO many people on the boat and a bunch of pros and cons:

-the main pool is adults only until 7pm
-bars all over the places with tons of signature drinks and almost every drink is offered on the drink package (any cocktail, beer or glass of wine under $15)
-the speciality dining restaurants ($) were really really good!
-the boat was very clean
-random gifts and letters left in your room
-the water slides are so much fun! Minus the yellow one (ouch!)
-staff was very friendly

-it was jam packed with people, wall to wall guest and kids running around
-only 2 pools on the entire boat and one is in a really awkward area between the slides (only pool open for kids)
-there was never enough seating for the shows in the atrium
-WAKE UP EARLY TO RESERVE YOUR BEACH CHAIR!!! By 0930-1000 all deck chairs are taken!!! You can't leave your chairs unattended for more than an hour
-the interior staterooms are rreeaallllyy small, out of 5 cruises this was def the smallest but I will say it was manageable and an ok layout but only a closet was available, no dresser or draws

All in all it was a great cruise and we would love to go again : )
