Review summary

I enjoyed the shows, parties and the diversity of the people on board. I did not care for The Haven concept not the exclusive pool area. The ship is beautiful however we did not care for the general pool area was too small and subsequently packed on non-port days. The food ranged from average to very good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food in the cafe was consistent however the restaurants were spotty. The final morning all passengers had to dine at the cafe which got incredibly crowded. Not well planned.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The evening top deck parties were a lot of fun, as were the numerous shows.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Most of them were great.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The pool is too small for such a large ship. Although we were interested purchasing access to the private pool for The Haven residents and guests, they were sold out. I felt the ship was designed to maximize gambling & alcohol consumption revenue. The ship was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The layout was problematic. The hangers would bang against the interior of the closet. There was no space between the sofa and my bed which made it awkward to mount. Nice bathroom and desk area.

Ship tip

The activities were very entertaining. The guests were diverse and interesting. It was a lot more fun than I expected.

I just sailed on tge Anthem of the Seas Royal Carribean's new ship and the pool and common areas are small also and very crowded. I stayed in a Star Class Suite but was traveling with a group couldn't really enjoy it. Most of the new ships being built are more rooms instead of more space for travelers to enjoy themselves !

they didn't mention money but i guess it could be.

Nickman684 I think the point was paying the huge amount of money to get into the Haven penthouses vs normal rooms

Sadly NCL is not the line to sail on for pools.

I'm confused. You didn't like the exclusive pool in the Haven but you didn't like the crowds at the public pool? Tough customer.
