The Escape is quite a ship

Sail Date: May 14, 2016

Room Type: Balcony

LOVED THE SHIP, IT WAS LOVELY. I was very surprised to find out that room service carried a $7.95 convenience charge, it wasn't clear if that was per person or just a cabin charge. Nonetheless I never encountered that on any other cruise. Thank goodness there was a coffee maker in our cabin which was kept well stocked!  In addition most of the shows required reservations and ticket purchase.

Miami, Florida
I live in S. Fl. its a beautiful skyline but better speak Spanish if you want to go it alone.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Its a great place for resorts and jewelry. Imperial Jewelers is the best for the value and selection.
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Its a pretty island but unless you enjoy water sports or just plain sightseeing its not that well developed.
Nassau, Bahamas
Atlantis is a must to experience but other than that it isn't the island it used to be.

A lot of dining options are al a carte and most of the evening shows are ticketed, so in order to enjoy all the ship has to offer better be prepared to spend more than you bargained for.
