I would certainly recommend this cruise. It is very intensive if you choose excursions in every port but you get to see wonderful places and have plenty of time to enjoy them. NCL does a great job for solo travellers - if you are on the fence about travelling solo, do it! Met great people and had an amazing time!

Loved the choices in the buffet. The speciality dining restaurants are great. Le Bistro being my favourite- best steak ever, could cut it with a spoon!

Room stewart was great, also cannot fault the bar and dining staff. Always smiling and helpful. Didn't have much contact with guest services as I have had no issues to resolve

The ship is great overall, although a bit quirky in places - it was odd to have to walk through the casino so much to get around if you stayed at the ship's aft. The ship is going for a small refurb soon, and does need a lick of paint here and there. But overall it is still a great ship to be on.
Cabin / Stateroom

The studio cabin was very comfortable. Plenty of room for one. Ample storage space.
Ship tip
Don't listen to negative reviews, especially regarding the staff. I have not met anyone who was miserable etc as some people have suggested. I suppose it may have been that the reviewers were miserable themselves and that rubs off
Have done the Pisa and Florence on your own excursion. It was a long day but well worth it. Florence is stunning and full of history. The drive around Tuscany is very scenic
Walked around Naples in the morning, no need for a shuttle, you are docked right in town. Visit Castle Nuovo right next to the port for best views of the bay and Vesuvius. Taken an afternoon shore excursion - Pompeii on your own. Was well worth it, Pompeii is wonderful
Taken the $15 shuttle bus provided by NCL to the centre of Palma. Although it is easily walkable in 30-45 mins but the weather was very hot so it made more sense to use the bus with air con. Palma is beautiful to just walk around and enjoy
Haven't done a shore excursion. It is a tender port and you are dropped off in a prime location to enjoy the Riviera. The beach is wonderful and the town is beautiful and very clean. Recommend this port for some "retail therapy", abundance of shops and restaurants
SHIP TIP very helpful.
I was concerned with recent comments from cruisers re. Epic and staff. It made no sense because my wife and I love NCL. It's our favorite.
Conclusion: Miserable cruisers give miserable reviews.
