Review summary

We were treated like Royalty with our Haven experience. We would cruise this ship again, but only in the Haven. Next time, it will not be during spring break.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Would have been 5 stars, but we were delayed an hour to board. Problem was clearing all of the guests from the previous cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Bistro, Cagneys, and LaCucina were all very good, and service was top notch. Haven restaurant is probably the best place to dine on the ship.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Posh is worth the money. Pools were very crowded, as this was a cruise during spring break.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Only show we made it to, was the beatles. It was good, loved hanging out in the cavern club for live music.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our Service was excellent, but we were haven guests. I had heard several complaints from other cruisers that the crew was understaffed and overworked.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean. The layout of the ship was not so good, guess that is why there is only 1 Epic class ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
These Spa Suite cabins on the 14th floor are noisy!!! The pool deck is directly above, and it is footsteps all night long. You also get a wake up call every morning with the pool loungers being put out. The Haven Spa Suite cabin is awesome, just don't get one on the 14th floor!

Ship tip

If you don't have a haven room, try to get a Posh pass.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Loved the excursions at this port. We did the Escape to Jost Van Dyke, and spent the day at the Soggy Dollar Bar. Most beautiful water I have ever seen. Many people did the Bath's tour.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
I really love St. Thomas, but picked the wrong excursion. We booked the Turbo Cat snorkel and beach. They took us to Emerald beach by the airport, and it was a letdown.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

3 out of 5
We only stayed for a couple of hours, and went back to the ship for lunch. Way overcrowded, but it was spring break. Maybe a better experience, on a smaller ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were escorted off the ship through the haven. Worth every penny.
