Review summary

It was fun - never really been on a bad cruise. There were some issues with getting coffee for some reason the machines were almost alway broken. The hot tubs are NOT. a couple did not work at all.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It was okay you will have to wait to matter when you get there.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The specialty restaurants were great. The others good - the non buffet places for breakfast were very slow and really not as good as the buffet.

Atrium Bar

3 out of 5

It was understaffed and slow especially when we had to be on the ship due to weather in port.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
It was cool on this January cruise a lot of the time. Not Norwegian's fault - the hot tubs are too cool for any weather which is.

Posh Beach Club

4 out of 5

Bar staff is great - there is no pool or hot tube on this one.

Entertainment

2 out of 5

Children's Programs

Do not see Priscilla - PG 16 doesn't mean what you think. The 2nd time I have ever left a performance ( I am a musician) . It was a waste of facility. Burn the floor is okay not great. The better entertainment was in the small venues.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
It took the front desk 5 days and many hours to make our keys work. They had to key the room and posh deck - which was evidently something they have never done. Wanted me to stand for 4 hours and watch them change the lock. I did convince them to comp me a specialty restaurant but you can't get 4 hours of vacation back in the sun.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The layout is good and there are pools and adult spaces available.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The design is good - the rooms are a little weird and wouldn't work for some - very little privacy the bed is short - I am 6'2" . The balcony was the largest I have ever had.

Ship tip

If you are tall - pull the bed away from the wall - you will need the space and it will give you a couple of inches. The better place to stay is at the front - just about everything is there - -- except the spice H20. Don't go to the cavern during the beatles it is mismanaged and you may have a bad time due to no security.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
Not great but okay. Still expensive.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Pushy locals.... There are a few things to do.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
We loved Jamaica - Did Dunn River Falls and more...

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Just not my favorite port. Went to Rum Point was okay - - - have been to stingray city and the turtle farm before.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

4 out of 5
The island is beautiful and a great place if it were warmer... that day --- darn cold front in January.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Was okay - --- Leaving Port Canaveral was hard due to the porters which evidently think they run the port.
