Review summary
The Blue Man Group was the only reason that I booked with Norwegian. I booked over a year in advance and received emails almost daily from Norwegian over every little thing. They did not seem to be concerned to notify people that The Blue Man Group did not renew with Norwegian and would no longer be onboard. I purchased the Ultimate Dining package for all of us and was sadly disappointed in that also. It took so long for our dinner each night that we missed what few shows were available. We tried to make our online reservations online before the cruise but that option was not available. The first day aboard, the reservations system was messed up. Our room key cards did not work half the time and we would be locked out. The art gallery people were extremely pushy. Our room did not get cleaned everyday and on the days it was cleaned, it was close to evening when it was done. Twice, we had to ask for towels because our room steward removed the dirty ones and did not leave clean ones. All in all, this was the absolute worst cruise I have ever taken. Never again, will I take a Norwegian cruise.

I made my reservation in September 2014 and saw announcements about last Blue man group show being on March 29th cruise, and I always saw those notifications when I went online. thankfully, I sailed on March 22nd so I got to see the show again, as it was my 2nd time on the Epic, and honestly an amazing cruise. yes, dinners take long, but you are there to relax and enjoy everything and on other cruise lines dinners take a long time. you could have also informed your waiter that you had a show and they could have speeded up the service. We did that when we ate at Taste one night , and were in and out in an hour. I do hope you give Norwegian another try at least on another ship, perhaps the Getaway or the Escape which will be new and they give even better attention and service when they are brand new.

So sorry to hear your cruise did not go well. In reading your review and others it looks like the Epic is having a lot of issues. To bad NCL does not read or comment here. I hope that you send them a letter... not E-mail, a paper letter still gets attention. Funny you mention towel issues. One time on the NCL Star we had 3 friends in a cabin and only got 2 sets of towels a day. By day 3 of the trip, the room steward in the hall said " your in the cabin of the 3 guys", I answered "yes I am, if you know there are three of us, how come you only give us towels for two ?
